JFKU opened in 1965 as a “suburban school” in Martinez to enable lifelong learning and prepare working adults for new careers. Enrolment has increased to over 1,800, but there are currently about 1,350 students. The school will move to 80% online courses once the current order is lifted. “Psychology will be first and foremost a program on the ground,” he noted. “We will continue to have a very strong presence in the East Bay, particularly for our counselling programs – clinical programs in housing and seniors` law.” The John F.
